How to create a blog post and optimize its SEO with Rank Math

In the side menu, click on Entries → Add .
The WordPress editor will open.
Fill in the main fields:
Article Title
→ It must be clear and contain the main keyword.
Example: Boxing classes in Andorra: schedules and levels
Content
→ Write the structured text:
Short paragraphs
Headings (H2, H3)
Lists if necessary
Featured image (right side)
→ Download a representative image of the article.
Category
→ Select the appropriate category (e.g., Blog, News, Boxing...).
2) Recommended article structure
For organic search engine optimization (SEO) to work correctly:
1 main title (H1 = the article title)
Subtitles (H2 and H3)
Recommended minimum word count: 600 to 1,000
Include the keyword several times naturally
It's better if it's not 100% AI, otherwise it won't have any personality.
Example structure:

Opening hours or key information
Benefits
Conclusion
3) SEO optimization with Rank Math
You will find the SEO Rank Math block under the editor .
Step 1: Define the keyword
In the Primary Keyword field , enter the primary key.
Example: Boxing in Andorra
Step 2: Edit the snippet (Google)
Click on "Edit extract" and complete:
SEO Title
→ Include the keyword
→ Max. 60 characters
URL (slug)
→ Cut and remove
→ Ex: boxing-Andorra
Meta description
→ Max. 150-160 characters
→ Explain the content and include the keyword
Example:
Discover the best boxing classes in Andorra. Schedules, levels and coaches at AS Boxing.
Step 3: Improve your SEO score
Rank Math will assign you a score out of 100.
To improve it:
✔ Include the keyword in:
Title
First paragraph
Subtitles
Meta description
✔ Add:
Internal links (to other pages of the website)
External links (if relevant)
Images with ALT text
✔ Sufficient text (minimum 600 words)
✔ Use lists or short paragraphs
Step 4: SEO Traffic Light
🔴 Red → poorly optimized
🟡 Yellow → can be improved
🟢 Green → correct
Try to reach green (60+ minimum recommended) .
4) Significant additional adjustments
On the right side:
Featured image → Required
Excerpt (optional) → brief summary
Tags → related words
5) Publish the article
Click on "Publish"
Confirm
Read the article online
Final advice (very important)
Do not copy the content (Google penalizes).
Always write with the user in mind.
Don't overuse the keyword.
Stay consistent with the brand
